Before you start

To connect VEDA, you need three things:

Your VEDA environment address, for example my-company.cloud.veda.net. It's the address you see in your browser when you're logged in to VEDA.
A Client ID and a Client Secret for the VEDA API.

VEDA issues the Client ID and Client Secret through its support team. There is no self-service option in VEDA.

Step 1: Request API credentials from VEDA

Contact VEDA support and ask them to issue a Client ID and Client Secret for API access to your VEDA environment. Mention which environment it's for (your environment address).

VEDA support can also regenerate the credentials later if you need new ones.

Step 2: Open the Kombo connection flow

Open the connection flow and click Continue.

Please note that this section may look slightly different for your connection.

Step 3: Enter your environment address and credentials

Fill in the three fields:

VEDA Environment Address: open VEDA in your browser and copy the address from the address bar. You can paste the full address; it's cropped to the domain automatically.
Client ID: the Client ID you received from VEDA support.
Client Secret: the Client Secret you received from VEDA support.

Then click Set up integration.

Step 4: Confirm the connection

Kombo checks your credentials right away. Once the connection is set up, the first sync starts on its own. Depending on the size of your organization, it can take a few minutes.
