Prerequisites
- Make sure you have set up the job to be used with background checks. Please refer to this guide on how.
How to configure the background check package on a job
- Go to a job where you would like to place background checks on candidates, and navigate to the "Job Requisition Details" tab:
- Select your Background Check provider in the "Background Check Vendors Account ID" option under the "COMMENTS" section (we're using the "Example" vendor in this guide):
- Select a Background Check package in the "Package ID" field, and click "Save":
How to request a background check on a candidate
- Go to a job requisition's "Candidates" overview page, select a candidate that you would want to have a background check performed on, and click on "Actions":
- Click on "Move Candidate" from the dropdown:
- Select the "Background Check" option as the target stage, and click on "Apply Updates":
- Go to the candidate's details page, click "Take Action" and select the "Initiate Background Check" option from the dropdown:
- Click "Confirm" in the "Initiate Background Check" pop-up:

Once a success message is shown in the pop-up, you will see that a background check order was created for the candidate in the candidate's details page:
How to view the assessment test result
- Once a background check has been completed, you can go to a candidate's details page, and the result will be displayed in the "Background Check" section:
