Prerequisites

• Your account needs to have the Admin role in your company's Eightfold instance.

  1. Log in to your Eightfold instance, click on "More" on the navigation bar, and select "Admin Console" from the dropdown:
  
  
  2. Make sure you can see the "Apps" section of the left side of the screen, and the "Install App" sub-section is also visible to you:
  
  If you cannot see the sections from the screenshot above, please find out who has the "Admin" role in your Eightfold instance, and ask them to promote you to the role or take over the setup process.
   

Instructions

Find your Eightfold region

1. Log in to your Eightfold instance, and check out the domain from your browser's navigation bar:
   
    
2. Select an option that matches the domain from the connection flow's drop-down list:
   
   If you are unsure of which region you should pick, please contact Eightfold's support team.
    

Generate API key

1. Log in to your Eightfold instance, click on "More" on the navigation bar, and select "Admin Console" from the dropdown:
   
    
2. Click on the "Integration" tab on the sidebar, then click on the "Eightfold API" tab from the dropdown:
   
    
3. Under the "Authentication" tab of the "Eightfold API" page, click on the "Generate a new API key" button:
   
    
4. Enter a name for the API key, and enable the permissions that are instructed by the connection flow:
   
   
   
    
5. Copy the "Username" and "Password" from the pop-up, paste them into the connection flow, and press "Continue":
   
   
   
    

Install Assessment Vendor App

1. Click on the "Apps" tab on the sidebar, then click on the "Install App" tab from the dropdown
   
    
2. In the "Install App" page, search for the name of the app shown in the connection flow (We're using "Kombo Assessment" as an example here): 
   
   
   
    
3. Copy the generated API key from the connection flow, and paste it into the "Configure Settings to Install App" pop-up":
   
   
   Please also enter the application stage(s) that you would like the assessments to be triggered on into the "Stage" field.
    
4. Click on the "Save Settings & Install" button in the "Configure Settings to Install App" pop-up, and then click on the "Set up integration" button in the connection flow:
