This guide explains how to connect Kombo with Avionté for two different user types:
- Avionté Clients
- Avionté Certified Integration (Kombo’s Customers)
1. Avionte Clients
Avionté clients are companies that use Avionté as an ATS themselves. When these clients want to work with an Avionté integrator, the integrator will need access to their instance in order to automatically read and write data from/to their system (paid API subscription required). If you use Avionté internally and want to integrate with an Avionte integrator then follow the steps below:
Steps to Connect:
-
Request Integration Access:
Contact your Avionté Account Manager and inform them you want to work with your partner company.
-
Provide Tenant ID:
Avionté will provide the partner company with access to your instance. Once access is granted, Avionté will share your Front Office Tenant ID directly with the partner company. You don’t need to send them anything yourself.
-
Certified Integrator Enters Tenant ID:
The requesting company will enter your Front Office Tenant ID into the Kombo connection flow for you, which allows them to access your instance
2. For Avionté Certified Integrators (Kombo Customers)
Avionté Certified Integrations are companies with a paid integration that connect to their customer’s Avionté instances in order to automatically read and write data between from/to those systems. If you are interested in joining the program please apply here: (link to the certification page). If you are already a certified integration please follow the steps below to set up the integration:
Steps to Connect:
-
Become an Certified Integration:
Reach out to your Avionté Account Manager to sign up for the paid integration program.
-
Receive Partner Credentials:
Once accepted, you will receive the following credentials from Avionté:
client_idclient_secret-
API key(for Avionté Gateway access)
-
Enter Credentials in Kombo:
Go to Kombo’s partner credentials form and enter the
client_id,client_secret, andAPI keyyou received. -
Set up webhooks:
For the integration to function properly, webhooks must be configured, as we depend on them for some resources from Avionté
Once you’ve generated a webhook URL, provide it to your Avionté account manager and request that they send events to that endpoint. Before they have not confirmed proper setup on their side you will have incomplete data!
⚠️ IMPORTANT: After you have set up the partner webhooks please contact Kombo (support or your CS representative). We have to send the authentication to Avionté. Before this step the webhooks will not work!

2.
🔗 To interact with your customers’ Avionté instances (e.g., write/read candidates and applications etc.):
- Your customer must first contact their Avionté account manager.
- Avionté will then provide YOU with their Front Office Tenant ID.
-
You (the certified integrator) enter this Tenant ID for them in the connection flow.
1. Create a new integration (Only you can create this integration from the dashboard for security reasons, your customer would not be able to complete this flow)
2. Choose to create the integration yourself, once you have received the Front Office Tenant ID for you customer from Avionte
3. Approve the Scopes and continue by entering the Front Office Tenant ID
4. DONE ✅
5. If you encounter this issue, first verify that you are accessing the correct customer instance. If the problem persists, it might be that Avionte has not granted you full access to your customer’s instance. In that case, please contact Avionte support.
If you have any questions or issues with this, please contact your Avionté Account Manager or Kombo support.
