Prerequisites
Use either an owner or admin-type account to complete the connection flow.
Employment Hero restricts the available endpoints by account level and restricts which employees can be read (e.g., employees can not see owner information).
Instructions
- Sign in to the Employment Hero dashboard
- Click on your account name in the top-right corner
- Click on Developer Portal
- In the developer portal, click on Add Application
- Copy the Name, Redirect URI, and Scopes from the connection flow, and click on create
The above-selected scopes are just an example. Make sure you are selecting the scopes presented to you in the connection flow.
Warning: There are two instances of the employees:list scope. If you were asked to add this scope, make sure both are selected. - Copy the Client id and Client secret, and paste them back into the connection flow, and click on continue
- Finally, click on Sign in with Employment Hero to authorize the integration
