Prerequisites

To create an integration with CareerPlug, you'll have to verify that you can view the API Applications page:

1. On the top right hand of your dashboard, click on Settings
2. Click on Integrations
   
3. Verify that you can see the API Applications option

If you are not able to see the API Applications option, you will not be able to complete this guide.

If this is the case, please reach out to support@careerplug.com or your CareerPlug representative, with the following message:

Hello _____,

We require access to the API Applications menu to create an integration with our partner, but it's not visible on the integration settings page. Would you be able to enable this for us?

Connection

1. Login to your CareerPlug portal
2. On the top right hand of your dashboard, click on Settings
3. Click on Integrations
4. Click on API Applications
5. Click on Add New Application
6. Click on the ? icon next to Native Redirect Uri
   
7. Copy the address mentioned in the pop-up. It will look something like xxxxxxxx:oauth:2.0:xxxx
8. Close the pop-up and enter the values for the new API Application:
   • Name: The name of whom this integration is for (e.g., Acme Inc.)
   • Redirect URI: The value you copied in step 7.
9. Click on Create Application
10. The application will now show up in the list of available API applications. Click on Credentials next to the API application that you just created.
11. Copy the Application and Secret values into the connection flow as shown below, and click on Continue in the connection flow
