Prerequisites
- You are an Admin of your SAP SuccessFactors instance. If you are not an admin, you won't even be able to search for and access the configuration pages that are described later on.
- Alternatively: Please contact your SuccessFactors Admin and have them take over the integration setup process.
Overview
Estimated, overall setup time: 20 minutes.
Fundamentally, there are 2 main steps you have to complete to set up the integration:
Configure the job requisition template
- Search for Reassign Job Requisitions
- Go to Recruiting Management and click Job Requisition
- Click on the job requisition template that belongs to your job
If you don't know which template your job requisition is based on, follow the steps here for an easy way to find out
- Click on Field Definitions
- Search for assessment and make sure there's a field with
Field-ID: assessment
Field Type: derivedOtherwise, create one
- Search for hardStopStatus and make sure there's a field with
Field-ID: hardStopStatus
Field Type: picklist
Picklist ID: jobReqStatusOtherwise, create one
- Search for assessment and make sure there's a field with
- Go back and click on the Field Permissions
- Click on Add field permission
- Select the following properties
Description: assessment
Permission Type: Write Permission
Permission Role Name: All
Reference ID: assessment
Permission Status: pre-approved
and click Done
- Click on Add field permission
- Feature Permissions
- Go to General Settings > Application Status Configuration
- Click on the Feature Permissions
- Click on Add feature permission
- Enter Show assessment info on candidate in the Description
Select All on the Permission Role Name - Select assessmentIntegration as the Feature Permission Type
- Select the stage of the recruiting process in which this should be shown (e.g. the assessments)
This setting will control in which stage the assessment section can be seen on a candidate.
You can create this for as many stages as you wish
- Go to General Settings > Application Status Configuration
- Click Publish
Configure the assessment stages
- Search for View Job Requisitions
- Go to the job you want to configure
Please make sure the job requisition belongs to the job template you configured earlier. Read here how to view the template of a job requisition - Scroll to the very bottom to the assessment association section and click Add more assessments
- Configure the assessment tests for different stages, then click Save Changes
Find out which template is used for a job requisition
- Search for Reassign Job Requisitions
- Type in the ID of the Job Requisition and click on the suggestion
Then click Search - The template name will be shown here
