Prerequisites
- Make sure you are an Admin in Bullhorn. You can validate that by checking in the menu if the Admin settings are shown.
- If you are not an Admin, please contact your Administrator or IT department to set up this integration.
Instructions
1. Enter your Bullhorn username. We require this information to determine the datacenter your information is hosted on.
2. [Conditional] If you see this step it is required for you to request your REST API credentials from Bullhorn.
- Follow the instructions from the connection flow. You can use our template message:
Dear Bullhorn Support Team,
I would like to request the Client ID and Client Secret for API access associated with our company account.
We would like to register the following redirect URI:
https://connect.kombo.dev/v1/oauth/bullhorn/callback
Kindly provide these details at your earliest convenience. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Warm regards,
[Your Full Name]
[Your Company Name]
- Continue after receiving your Client ID and Client secret from Bullhorn support.
3. In the connection dialog, click Sign in with Bullhorn
A Bullhorn window will prompt you to enter your login credentials. You can either set up a new API user for this integration, or log in with your exiting admin user credentials.
Enter the credentials, then click Log In.
Once logged in, the Bullhorn window will close, and the connection will be established.
Troubleshooting
If you have trouble logging in, please follow the steps below.
- If you have the Bullhorn window from the step above open, first close it.
- Open your bullhorn instance and login (this is your usual Bullhorn login page, not the connection flow). If you are already logged in, logout and log back into your Bullhorn instance.
To login, please use the same credentials that you entered in the Bullhorn window.
If you cannot log into your Bullhorn instance, your login credentials are invalid and you likely need to reset your password. - If you successfully logged in, stay logged into your Bullhorn instance, go back to the connection flow and try to log back in using the Bullhorn window. The login should now work as expected.
