Prerequisites
Before getting started, please carefully read the following to make sure you fulfill all requirements for the integration to work:
- You should have Admin Access to your SmartRecruiters instance.
If your account does not have the assigned User role of Admin you won't be allowed to create the necessary credentials.
- Login to SmartRecruiters and go to Settings in the top right corner:
- Ensure that your account is labeled with Admin Access underneath your account name:
Sign in with SmartRecruiters
Note: When you set up this connection, your name will appear as the person performing certain actions (like adding notes to applicant profiles), even though the system is doing them automatically. If you'd prefer to make it more clear which actions are automated, you can create a separate user account in SmartRecruiters specifically for this purpose.
- Click on the Sign in with SmartRecruiters button:
- Log in to SmartRecruiters. On the next screen, click on ALLOW ACCESS:
Hiring source
If required be your partner, you will be prompted to create a source within the SmartRecruiters system.
- Login to SmartRecruiters and go to Settings in the top right corner:
- Under Configuration, click on Custom Candidate Sources
- Click on Create source
- Enter the Source Name as described within your connection flow. Select a value for Source Type and Source Sub-type as desired, for example Other.
