Please note: Haufe Umantis was rebranded to Abacus Umantis. This rebranding only affects the name of the integration - all features and functionalities will be the same as with Haufe Umantis. You can find the updated guide for Abacus Umantis here.

Prerequisites

• You need to be an Admin of your Haufe Umantis instance

1. Click on the cog on the top right of your Haufe Umantis instance
   

   

2. If you can now see the menu pictured below in Haufe Umantis, you are an Admin. If you do not see the menu below, please find the Admin in your organization and hand over the setup process to them.
   

Find your Haufe Umantis subdomain

1. Log into your Haufe Umantis instance
2. Go to the top of the URL and copy the subdomain (what is shown before umantis.com)
3. Paste the subdomain into the connection flow
4. Click Continue
   
5. Please note: Now you have to wait until the integration request is processed in the background. Someone will reach out to you once you can go on to granting the API permissions
   Until then, you have to wait until someone reaches out to you

Grant the API permissions

1. Log into your Haufe Umantis instance
2. Click the settings wheel at the top right
3. Click "Settings" in the new dropdown
   
4. Go to the "API" tab
5. Under "Partner API account" you should see a new list item, click on Accept 
6. On the new page, click "Accept" again

Congratulations! You just authorized the integration with your Haufe Umantis account
